My Unfortunate Event

I lost my phone and wallet. It was entirely my fault. I had no idea what got into me. I just left my entire bag in the toilet. How can someone forget such a big item? my entire bag! I always thought I am quite careful when it comes to my valuables but I guess I am not at all. I didn't even realized that I was not carrying my bag until derrick asked if I had my phone with me. It was only about 5 mins. Derrick ran back to the toilet and managed to find my bag. My phone and purse was gone though.

I always had the fear of leaving my bag behind in a changing room. But never have I ever imagined that I would leave it in a toilet! I think the chances of getting back my belongings would be higher if I  had left it in the changing room as the the salesperson will probably be checking it before she lets the next person in. In any case, I do not want to experience that.

That being said, what's gone is gone. Derrick had tried his best to get it back. We went to the security, requested for the guy to view the camera to see who went in after us. But due to stupid privacy issues, we can't get any info blah blah. We managed to track the phone using the find the iphone app. It actually gave us an address. We gave it to the police who said that he went to asked around the complex. Obviously no thief will ever own up to stealing it especially when a cop turns up at their door right?

I am most upset over the lost of my device, the time derrick wasted and will be wasting even more to get me up and running again and of course the $ issue. My purse had $50 and a debit card that we managed to cancel. The rest were just free supermarket cards. The $ i have to spend to buy a new phone can be used to buy a car, for driving lessons and for lessons for Charlotte!

Y am I such a klutz!!??

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

Having the Chills

If you, Derrick is ever reading this, I would suggest you close this page. It's my right to type whatever I want. I won't mince my words because this is my space. I hardly feel unwell and this not the best time to fall sick. Yet I'm having the chills. Whenever my boob hurts, I will start to get the chills and a little temperature. It had to come at the time when i'm feeling totally not in the mood to do anything. I think I should swallow a few more pills. What I had isn't enough. Guess feeling down really brings down one's immune system. We just got news that we will be moving back to Singapore and the first thing that came to my mind is F*** I've to face her. That fake face (literally fake. No amount of make up helps la. old means old. draw what draw) who pretends she doesn't care or even when we talk face to face she says no no it's ok. PUI! Der will be unhappy reading this but i blame it on him for making the situation like this. No amount of ...
