Parents in Moscow

Charlotte's grandparents are in Moscow and I thought she will be more well behaved since there are more people around to play with her. However, I think I can conclude that it must be Singapore that she is missing. She seems to be so much more well behaved in Singapore. I guess her skin is also one factor that is making her feel uncomfortable. The moment the plane flies over the Moscow continent, her cheeks get red. Her body too starts to breakout in rash after a few days. Bye to her baby smooth skin. Poor baby.

These days, she can never stay still. Whenever she is awake, she will be screaming away or making crying noises every 5 seconds. She wants to stand up or be carried around but I cannot be out of sight. the only peaceful time for me is during her sleeping time. Charlotte hates being in taxi and restaurants. She will be constantly screaming away in theses 2 places.

Why am I stuck in the car again?

In a restaurant, I am always woofing down my food. I feel like a barbarian. Most of the time, I cannot even taste what I am eating. She is only happy in the beginning and when she realized we will be sitting down for a while, she starts to wriggle around and starts to make noise.

Her favourite time... being walked around.. We have to walk and walk and walk...
We spotted these beautifully painted easter egg decorations on the streets of Moscow - 1 May is the Orthodox Easter Day for Russians.

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
