Happy 30th B'day Darling!

Derrick turned 30 in Moscow and we decided to head down to the highest restaurant in Europe to celebrate his special day - Sixty.
The restaurant is located at the business district in Moscow and the area resembles Raffles Place. I felt like home the moment I got out of the train station. I have always love working in town and the feeling just came back when I see all the office buildings and office workers getting off work. The view of Moscow city from the restaurant was breathtaking.
The food there was generally good. The borsch soup with wagyu beef was perfect. The only dish that did not get a thumbs up was the burger. It was not worth the price and the presentation was not what we expected out of such a posh place.
I had a fantastic miso cod.
Happy Birthday Derrick! This dessert is called Mercedes Benz. It is made out of a white chocolate dome, there's cake and some berry jam inside. I really loved it. I would go back to have it again. This is much better than Pushkin signature dessert and cost mush less. Definitely worth it!
The glass panels at the restaurant opens every now and then for the duration of 1 song to allow guest to take pictures. Whenever it opens, everyone will rush over to get as many photos as possible hah.
I hope I had more of a planned birthday. I do feel a little guilty after all that he has done for me. Once again, I am so fortunate and I am thankful for it. I'll try to make it up next time! I love you~Muackz!

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
