My Last Day @ Citco

I realized I have not been blogging for quite some time as I've been out of town and a lot have been going on recently:
1. Went over to Shanghai with my parents to visit my bro, who is on exchange. Also took some time to make a trip over to Beijing to climb the Great Wall! It was an experience :)
2. The time has finally arrived. I've left Citco, hoping for the better. Was really touched by all my colleagues and their gifts on my last day. I'll try my best to keep in touch with everyone.
3. Just did a 2 day flea market sale at expo which practically burnt my entire weekend. Nonetheless, thanks a million to Serena who gave us a very big friendship rate on the rental :)

Will update on my Shanghai trip over the weekend once I've sorted out the pics. Even though it was a 9 days trip, i think i did not take a lot of pics this time round. My parents aren't really the photo taking type of people haha. I've yet to see the pics myself..so we'll see.

Some pics and thoughts on my last day at Citco. We had lunch at Jack's Place at Century Square. I was quite surprised at the turnout. We had 2 truckload of ppl. I'm in bus no. 1.

I'm pretty sure the turnout was all thanks to Ven, one of my best colleagues around whom I hang out with. I bet it wouldn't be like this if the organizer wasn't her. A pic of the Polaroid pics take on that day heh

It as a crazy day as we only got back to the office at 3pm.
The many faces in Citco... I'm sure I'll miss them in 1 way or another...

I must say I finally appreciate Wilson's point and shoot random photo taking skills as the next few shots seem to show vividly what was happening at tt time...

I am touched by all the kind words in the box filled with memories...

Finally a pic of my team...

And everyone :)

Once again, thanks for all the well wishes and all the best to everyone too!

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
