Congratulations Derrick Leow

Attended the convocation of my darling on Tues. I love graduation ceremonies coz I can take lots of pics and it's such a joyous event! I think I should take up photography. I love shooting people :) I seriously had a great time asking him to take pics with everyone he said hi to and asking him to pose at different angles with the cute little bear heh.

On the way to NTU early in the morning. I had to wake up at 645am just to get to his place latest at 830am. I like his side view :)

Der and his mummy. Yupz ... I attended the convo with his mum. Doesn't she look very young. Anyway, it wasn't tt bad coz I think the convo was held too early and she's super tired. So she slept a little during the ceremony so tt means there wasn't much time to talk heh.

Me and the teddy bear. So cute! Unlike SMU's gift. Some key chain and wine glass.

I had to force mr leow to take pics with the bear coz he thinks he's too manly to hold such a thing. boo...

Despite bears being cute, I think there's a flaw with the sch's perception of graduation. They seemed to associate graduation with bears. They're selling stuffed bears everywhere and there's even a life size teddy walking ard! hahah

And more pics of bears! Get what I mean now?

Alright back to people... Even Elgin graced the event.

And the must have shot, the mortar board throwing ceremony. Unlike SMU where the entire sch of business threw it together in the hall, they threw it themselves among friends.
Congratulations once again darling :)

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
