The start of my first weekend from work!

Work's treating me great so far but I was still looking forward to the weekends =)

Oh oh... peeps, Guess how my weekend started? I went Yio Chu Kang! *Surprise surprise* I went off my bugis diameter k. I think work has made me a little cranky haha i actually went all the way to YCK with Evan to his house to get his car. Oh well saw his "so-called hamster hole". (Dude, if tt's a hamster hole, mine is... can't even find a word man. But jacyn exaggerate la! wat mansion hahah) But it was nice going there actually. Did i mention before i loveee viewing this kind of neighbourhood. Last time i use to ask ppl drive around when i'm free juz to c the houses.

So off we went on a scary ride down to pick Bryan up. I muz say this person is a terror driving. I was so worried for my dear life in his car. (I know ur car can go very fast but this's singapore road uncle!) Anyway greenwood ave (if i rememeber correctly) is quite an awesome place. (Su, i think it's the place u wanted us to go the other time.) Guess i'll be heading there from now on. So as Evan's busy ordering food for the hungry us, Bryan and I took some pics. Hanging out with these guys remind me of Sam zhang! BUT at least these peeps dun dig at me as much as stupid sam haha but i noe it's all in the name of fun. It's nice to chill out with u guys.

Hung out at zouk after dinner. Oh my gosh Penny, I was reallly soooo bored with ur BOA colleagues. Now i noe wat u meant by UOB ppl are more fun. (sorry if i offend anyone who's reading this) I almost fell asleep on the dance flr! Ok at least the couple of UOB ppl there made the night better (I was amazed at Ben's squeezing ability though). Not to mention, UOB is filled with smu ppl la. The world's so small.

Most important note! Stop saying I look lk Gong Shi Jia!!!! If i'm not wrong, it's Wen Zhan rite?? still cut my pic and put beside hers. Now everyone i meet remembers me as tt!

P/s: Sorry ru for not joining u guys.. I really can't stand tt person. haha think this's the FIRST person i ever really dun like. Mel nv hates anyone i think.

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
