Perth

The little terror goes to Perth. The family made a short trip to Perth and driving to the Margaret River region. Traveling with Charlotte means chilling and doing almost nothing. Our schedule revolves around her. Till date, she has been good on all flights. Cross my fingers that it stays this way.

Eating and hanging out at restaurants was the most exciting activity when you are traveling with a baby.
I had the best lavender ice cream.
Staying indoor was also favourable during Perth's summer. The Margaret River Chocolate Factory was a cool relief from the hot sun.

We visited some attractions like the King's Park and Botanical Garden. It was so hot standing under the sun. Fortunately, we brought a fan for Charlotte.
We were so into nature that we changed her diapers right under a tree. It beats changing in the dim smelly looking toilet in the park. 1 little baby but 3 pairs of hands...
All done!

Charlotte goes to Busselton Jetty
Her grandparents are so happy just being around her.

Canal rocks was nice and breezy but there is so far we can go when pushing a stroller.
Even at the beach where it used to be a place we frolic in the waters and get a tan, we shunned it hahah we were afraid that Charlotte will get sun burnt. We managed to snap a few pics though while my parents looked after her. Those were the days...

I guess Charlotte fav time of the trip was her swimming time. She seems to enjoy swimming. Thus we choose an apartment that has a pool for her. She got really excited when we put her in her new swim suit. She looks like a really big girl here even though she's only 4 months old.

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
