September 21, 2014 was the long awaited Moscow Marathon. Moscow city held a series of runs leading up to this final, biggest run event - The Moscow Marathon. The run started at 9am and everyone was feeling excited at the start point. Both the 10km and full marathon runners start at the same time for this race. Feeling pretty excited at the start point. I am no longer the ambitious person I used to be hah so Derrick and I participated in only the 10km race. The running route was good too. We ran along the moscow river and also past the MFA building which is 1 of the seven sisters in Moscow. The seven sisters are a group of 7 skyscrapers in Moscow, designed in the Stanlinist style. I spotted dinosaur and Eeyore. The last time I joined a run in Moscow, the weather was too cold for me. I had trouble breathing properly and my nose kept running. One good thing about staying alone... I get to dictate what I eat. Due to my rather sedentary lifestyle these days coupled with my usual sweet tooth, I cannot bear to stand on the weighing scale anymore. It doesn't help when there's a weighing scale that is easily accessible to me in my bath room. Reality sux and I have to do something about it!  My last night's dinner.. looks pretty good huh? I was quite proud of my salad hah. It had lettuce, cherry tomatoes, carrots, baby radish, avocado, baked tofu, raisins and grilled chicken. The dressing was balsamic vinegar and avocado oil.

Happy 30th Birthday to me!!!  I cannot imagine how I have reached 30 years old. I still feel like it was yesterday that I was dressed in my school uniform, asking my grandma to bring books to me whenever I forgot to put it in my bag, feeling so tortured having to study all the time for exams (exams were never my thing), looking for my first job and the list goes on. I guess I am having this moment in the movies where the actress will experience a time freeze, the colour on the screen will now change to this olden time colour and flash back of the memories start reenacting beside her when she turns her head to the right. Woohooo too much movies~~~ haha Looking at my current self, I think I am very happy and satisfied with my life. I do not need to work (at least temporarily, something I have to keep reminding myself), I get to travel, I have practically nothing to worry about (except my constant battle with bad skin which I have no idea why I kept breaking out) and of course t...
