I love Ootoya despite a few small grouses. The quality of food is good and comparable to the ones I had in Japan. Even the portions are the same - Big portions with lots of carbo. There is free refill of rice. Nonetheless, I love the cold udon and I am kinda craving for it now. However I feel that the queue is too long. I waited more than 1 hour for my turn and during the meal, I had to keep asking for tea refills before someone actually fills my tea. I read that the tea they served is known as genmaicha. It is actually green tea with brown rice. Nice~~ No wonder I feel that the tea tasted a bit different. Just didn't know wat's the diff. I might try again to go at a less peak time and see how it goes. My set - Cold Udon with mini grilled chicken rice set. The guys laughed at my Udon coz they looked lk they were sun bathing.
