My team came in 2nd for the corporate floorball competition yesterday!! Yipeee! but i'm just the back up hahaha. Basically it was only the 2nd time i was playing ytd so i did not dare to go up too often as some of the other cos. like the prison, kpmg had some really strong players. Despite my little appearance, my body is aching and i have blue blacks all over now. Pics to be up soon!!

Now for my super belated post on my b'day celebration with my dearest der. Der brought me to Changi Village Hotel for dinner that night. I realised even though i've been to changi village hawker centre for so many times, i din realised there was a hotel there.

The restaurant had a really nice view. It over looks the sea and we can see planes flying.

The place was really quiet, filled with couples having quiet dinner or just chilling out with drinks

As we had a buffet lunch tt afternoon, we were too full for a full course meal each. So we decided on sharing a pizza. it was good. I like it.

I noticed the super cool toilet sign! The sign was made from crystals. I like!

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding .
